The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs on Friday condemned the terrorist attack on worshipers in two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which killed 49 people.
The head of the operations center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Ambassador Sufyan al-Qudahat, said that preliminary information indicates the presence of Jordanian citizens among those injured in the terrorist incident.
He added that the operations center of the ministry and the Jordanian embassy in Australia accredited to the New Zealand government are following up contacts with the relevant authorities in New Zealand to check on the situation of the injured and their needs.
